Week of 9/26-10/2

On Monday, September 27th the girls played Loyola Academy. Sophomores Emily Scaletta and Stephanie Miljkovic connected great with each other and made several marvelous passes. Junior Eva Allibone also had a notable game and carried the ball remarkably well. Unfortunately, the Ramblers scored two goals in the first half of the game and one in the second. The final score was 3-0.

On Wednesday, September 29th the Pats played New Trier High School. NT scored early in the first half of the game and popped a few in during the second half. Junior Ginger Lu made excellent adjustments at defense, but it was not enough to hold the Trevians. The Pats lost, 5-0.

On Thursday, September 30th the girls came ready to play Lakes High School. Sophomore Lauren Huber played outstanding, taking strong free hits and making excellent passes throughout the entire game. Sophomores Emily Scaletta and Stephanie Miljkovic consistently passed well and both girls set up leading scorer, Katie Perlman, for a goal. The Pats won, 1-0.

On Friday, October 1st SHS took on Lake Forest High School. Every single girl on the team played her heart out. Sophomore Lauren Huber "intimidated" the Scouts with her superb free hits; junior captain Julia Balmos blocked numerous shots on our defensive corners; and sophomore captain Emily Scaletta had several fantastic breaks that left LFHS and their coach simply stunned.

The girls will be hungry for a win on Monday, October 4th when they play Loyola Academy at 4:30. See you then!
